May 15 - the day we go to Venice!
Like us, it was not without adventures, but in the morning we finally managed to set off from Bologna Centrale station directly to the Venezia Santa Lucia station. The trip was quite pleasant, after about 2 hours we started to see the first charms of Venice - we saw fragments of the Adriatic Sea, we were driving practically in the middle of the sea - a wonderful experience!
After reaching the place, we met a Polish guide who has lived in Italy for 30 years, and then we visited the most beautiful monuments and corners of Venice with her, such as: Piazza San Marco, Doge's Palace, Bridge of Sighs, Basilica of Santa Maria delle Salute, Rialto Bridge, Canale Grande.
Walking around the Venetian streets, we also admired the souvenir stalls, and of course what stands out are traditional Venetian masks - variously decorated, in different colors, beautiful!
Later, we went to a restaurant a bit further down the street for dinner, which only gave us the atmosphere.
After lunch, we had free time, which we decided to spend on discovering Venetian nooks and crannies, as well as buying souvenirs.
After the trip, tired of the heat outside, but happy at the same time that we had a chance to visit Venice, we returned to Bologna.
Venice is a really wonderful city, definitely worth going there!
